Stainless steel, AISI 304, with metric, coarse threads. Other threads are available on request.
Stainless steel, AISI 304, with 'screw lock' thread inserts. Prevailing torque design makes them useful in applications where there is cyclic vibration or impact.
Heavy duty inserts in stainlesss steel, AISI 304, or see P0083.2 for carbon steel version. Easy to install.
Thinwall thread inserts in stainless steel, AISI 304 or P0084.2 in carbon steel. Ideal for lighter duty applications. Easy to install with no special tools required.
Commercial grade solid thread inserts that allow any thread size to be drilled after installation. Available in stainless steel (AISI 304) or carbon steel.
Select installation tool of corresponding insert internal thread d1 and external thread d2. If in doubt refer to data tables of insert where correct "Inst. tool ref." is stated.

Automotion Components threaded inserts, if required, can be removed without damage to the parent/surrounding material, follow these steps.
1. Refer to the product data table of the installed threaded insert and identify the drill size and drill depth required for removal. Drill out the material between the insert keys and the internal thread to specifi ed depth.
2. Bend the locking keys inward and break off.
3. Remove the old insert using a screw extractor or similar.
4. Install a replacement insert into the original tapped hole as per installation instruction above.
