PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) is a high-performance plastic. It is wear-resistant, non-conductive, and chemically stable. It performs well in demanding environments. It can withstand temperatures of up to 260°C, has good creep resistance and hydrolysis resistance. Suitable for many applications, our PEEK fasteners are made in-house and each type is tailored to meet the needs of specific industries:
Natural PEEK: A high performance plastic with very good durability, wear and chemical resistance. Suitable for automotion, aerospace, oil & gas, electronics, marine & renewable energy and chemical use.
Hygienic PEEK: These fasteners are for industries with strict hygiene standards, perfect for food manufacturing and mechanical engineering. They have a blue, metal-detectable or X-ray opaque filler for safety and traceability. Easy to detect small partciles and visible to optical inspection systems.
Medical-Grade PEEK: It is a refined version of PEEK and is biocompatible, so ideal for medical, food and mechanical engineering industries.
PEEK fasteners are lightweight, non-corrosive, and non-conductive. They are one of the few plastics that perform reliably in Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) systems; PEEK fasteners are often used alongside vented fasteners in UHV applications.
